After a successful showing of our 1953 Jaguar XK120 at Pebble Beach Concours, we are straight back into the Concours swing at the highly prestigious and respected Salon Privé.
Held in the salubrious surroundings of Blenheim Palace, the event is a must-attend and a particular favourite of ours. Having displayed at the event previously, we are always impressed by the selection of fine automobiles on offer, from the latest hypercars like the new Lamborghini SVJ to timeless motoring classics.
Having undertaken the Concours Tour in 1965 Jaguar E-Type 4.2 Roadster, which was a pleasure to drive thanks to the cars subtle upgrades, we are now looking forward to judging beginning.
DM Historics are privileged to be displaying our period competition 1959 Lotus Elite S1 race car, which was campaigned at Goodwood in period by renowned racer Tommy Dickson. This year will be campaigned in Class K: Competition Cars to 1965.
Our specialist in-house team at DM Historics have prepared the car to full FIA Appendix K regulations, and it is a real testament to the quality of the work to have a race-ready car in a Concours such as this. We look forward to seeing the reaction of both fans and of course the judges to this gorgeous racer.
